This page is intended to host a conversation about development possibilities at our Hoddesdon site. Please bear in mind that this is currently a publicly-visible site.
The Hoddesdon site, for this purpose, is in 2 parts – the Grade-2-listed early C19 Meeting House and associated burial site, and the C20 hall and cottage. We are in the process of trying to get planning permission for residential development on the hall and cottage part of the site, with the idea that tis can then be used to fund possible restoration and development of the Meeting House.
There are differing ideas amongst us about how, or indeed whether, the Meeting House can be restored and developed. There are also questions about whether we can manage a restored building. This blog is intended to provide a forum in which some of these ideas and questions can be expressed, so that we are better informed when we come to
discern our future actions.
